LC3 Armchair is part of the series of furniture that the creator, the Swiss architect and designer Le Corbusier, called grand modèle, meaning large model. The furniture in the LC3 series is simply larger than the corresponding furniture LC2 series. The two series are nonetheless similar in many ways, not least in terms of design.
